What's New?

• 99/07/03 - well, it has been a while, hasn't it? I needed to change my e-mail addr because I signed on with RoadRunner and finally kissed that old slow 53K dial-up ISP goodbye. Oooooh what a difference. I can leave the Linux box up 24/7 now, and have a reasonable idea of what the IP is gonna be... so maybe this link to my home server will work.

  also, changed the "new" splat.. .. stole this off a japanese page somewhere... I like it. "Plaguerize... let no one else's work evade yer eyes" - Joe Biden (whoops, that one's already been stolen!)

• 97/03/05 - updates to the Media Page:

• 97/01/22 - updates to the Ham Page:
  • a few new links...
  • found a forms-based callsign server at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock Amateur Radio Club... a simple matter to add the fields to the Ham Page.
  Also put a few form fields together and created a Callsign Search page of my own... this one searches for names too, and goes to the UALR server... which gets daily updates from the FCC. This page has no graphics and loads quickly -- especially important for you Net Control Stations... (I like to look up the new callsigns online and then recognize the station operators by name... it's fun, and I'll bet it blows minds... :-)

• 97/01/20 - finally found a dictionary online! Theres's a replica here and here. This one is cool.... I mean really cool. On the Media page, under Misc.

• 97/01/15 - minor tweaks...
  1. a couple of new items on the scanner page.
  2. added KA4YMY's mug here... just in case you want to see what a Golden Screwdriver looks like... :-)
• 97/01/13 - Major updates..
  1. Separated the scanner stuff out to its own page.
  2. The old "favorites" page had evolved into a list of various media and deserved its own heading. May be renamed later.
  3. "New" page, inspired by some rather well-organized japanese pages I've seen, and I liked the concept.
  4. Added my mug to the homepage, so you might be able to pick me out at a hamfest even if you've never seen me before.
  5. Other various fixups, such as the "new" splat.. i.e.

• 97/01/12 - Added the counter.

  (Tripod's counter doesn't seem to work, so I used the one from the corporate page.)

• 97/01/11 - PIRN graphic added for KA4YMY.

  As PIRN evolves further, it will eventually get its own status page.

• 97/01/10 - External page established on Tripod.

  Basic design copied from the corporate intranet page but with the corporate stuff removed.
